GPL- Special Wheel Needed

by Tim Deatherag » Mon, 19 Oct 1998 04:00:00

Dear friends,

Now that I got your attention I will write:

Many of you RAS gurus ( I won't name names for fear of overlooking someone)
know me by now but I will repeat the facts:

I am a 45 year dwarf and my family has been has been involved in
motorcycle and car racing for 50 years
I do not get around real well because of  spinal cord compression which
affects the feelings in in my legs.
I am a "Sim ***." and use a TM GP1 with paddles for Gas & Brake. I want
a Thomas and/or ECCI quality wheel with the same setup (Wheel and no pedals)
Trevor says their add-on paddles are for shifting only.

Being in RC cars and slot cars in the 80's and early 90's it was easy to
spend to spend $ 1,500+++ on  the hobby. Since I am a CPA,  I  have money to
spend.  I am willing to have a custom wheel made if needed.

Bottom line - How or where  can I get a quality wheel with paddles for gas &
brake and shift buttons?

FWIW, I'm the guy whose racer/brother died a week ago I appreciate all of
your sympathy emails !
Also FWIW  Eddie Hill (NHRA Drag Racer) is a client and friend here in
Wichita Falls

THANKS AS ALWAYS ! ! ! ! ! ! !  ! !

PS This message will be repeated under several subject line.

I use to race

y with. Nevertheless, I could
experience a simulated race with his type of car and be like my BIG brother
!
