A question for anyone who still have the dos version in indycar 2!
if you soundcard is not listed in the icr2 setup menu.how do you get
sound??
i tried all ones there but no luck.i am using a crystal soundcar,and
running win98se
and dos version of icr2.

Icr2 available for purchase if u'd rather try a more up to date version

Its being sold under the title C.A.R.T. Racing
I just bought it packaged with SODA racin for $12 canadian

+) yup... but fer as it turns out the non rendition version of icr2, its
barely worth it...

  Your soundcard "should" have Soundblaster compatiblity.  However, ICR2
is an old program that only sees the sound card if it is in irq 5 or 7
(I think!)  So unless you have dos drivers that assign your soundcard to
S220 Irq 5 or Irq 7  & Dma 1 or Dma 3 then you may not get any working
sound.    Which isn't all that bad when you consider how really awful
the engine sounds in ICR2 are.

Download the Windows 95 update, and run under Windows.

You obviously haven't visited my site ( http://simcrash.00game.com ) and
downloaded my new engine sound for ICR2.  :)  Sorry, I just had to do that.
hehe  Seriously though, I do find that this engine sound is less annoying and a
little more realistic.
