The "Driving School" mode puts you through a series of "tests" that
you must pass -- I thought it was helpful, and it did help my times in
F1CS2K. All in all, I would say that it sounds like you would enjoy
F1CS2K, especially with the "All Chassis Patch" that gives you
advanced physics (shameless plug). You can get that, plus lots of
setups and add-ons at the Blackhole Motorsports site.
FWIW, I'd say that F1CS2K is DEFINITELY worth the $20 investment if
you're a true sim racing fan.
