or is it called Midnight Racer II?

I tried it at CompUSA on a demo computer and it was pretty cool.

Is it a good game and worth buying?

Thanks!

Only if you do not expect any good wheel support

I think you are talking about Midnight Club II. ( I believe there are games
called Midnight Racer and Midnight Outlaw Racing, which are both bad).

Midnight Club is a fun ARCADE game.  Don't go expecting anything realistic.

It stinks. Looks like a 5 year old's kindergarten programming assignment.

That's it, Midnight Club II.

I tried it, and driving around was pretty fun.  I didn't know of any mission
or anything, it was already running
when I tried it.  I thought the graphics were pretty good.  I used a wheel
and it worked well (I have a FF joystick at home).

What is the point of the game?  Is it similar to NFS:Underground?

I'll wait until it gets down to $9.99, it was $19.99 at Best Buy.

Thanks!

I thought it was garbage. Much worse than NFS-U.

There's a demo of Midnight Club II that you can download and try at
home.  It's pretty fun, the vehicle physics aren't *stellar* but
they're very similar to the Grand Theft Auto series, i.e. very good
for a lite sim.

You can get the demo here:

I haven't gotten the full version yet so I can't comment on the
gameplay aside from what's been mentioned on the site and in reviews.
