POD Demo Problem !

I have got the pod shareware from ubisoft.

After I installed it sayd that a dll is missing

DINPUT.DLL

I have the latest version of Direct X installed and that

DLL is not there.

any ideas ?????

I wouldn't worry about it. IMO, POD isn't worth the trouble it takes to
install it.  It overwrites your current drivers without asking, and it took
me more time to get everything back the way it was before installing this
crappy game than I spent playing it.  Everyone who has posted who says they
can't understand how a 3d supported game that runs as smoothly as this can
have no sensation of speed--believe them! Besides this, there is no
discernable point to the game, as far as I can tell.  These comments refer
to the retail version, BTW, not the shareware.

You could maybe try installing Directx 2.0.
I know that it contains some files that aren't found in DirectX 3.0, as I
had a problem with Mechwarrior that came with my Righteous 3d, and found I
had to install directx 2.0 again to get the file, then installed directx
3.0...

Dinput.dll is a directx file.  I could even send you a copy mine if you
want to put it in your Windows system directory.
