Something that has been bothering me is that wrecking your opponents seems
to be a standard tactict. I was just in a race and when the other dude didnt
wreck him he said "hey thanks for not wrecking me," because he was EXPECTING
to get wrecked. Anyway, later they wrecked me, so i got PISSED. I started in
front of one other person and for the rest of the rounds just would stare in
my mirror and block him and wreck the bastard the whole race, he got mad and
quit. Good. I hate wreckers messing up the damn game so i gave him a big
darn smack with the revenge belt. Strange though, once i took him out i
couldnt log in anymore. Oh well. The game is so great, street races are
AWESOME, but people dont think they need to race clean. What the hell is
with them.

I just received my beta disk today. How's the game? Is it totally
arcade? Are there any install issues (such as with D&D Pool Of Radiance,
a game that could wipe out your system upon installing it)?

No, it's not really arcade, it's in a category I prefer to call "Sim
Light", where the cars behavior is believable, rather than realistic,
making you pull of some slides and such that you would more than likely
not pull off in real life, but it makes it more instantly enjoyable for
most, I kinda like it actually

I must admit that I haven't played in a while though, the hours he
server was open wasn't the best for a "Euro" who was supposed to be at
work the next day, but overall I enjoyed it, bugs and all, lag wasn't
too bad after the server upgrade some time ago either, but things might
have changed a bit since then

Beers and cheers

I'd say it's like Metropolis Street Race on the Dreamcast (which I could
play for ever!)
