Lightening DOS picture?

Hi all,

Is there any way to brighten the screen in DOS? I have a defective
monitor which can go dark very suddenly. It's not a problem in Windows
as I can adjust the gamma levels but when I want to run DOS games such
as GP2 it's a real pain.

Anything I can do?

Hi Graeme!

Two possibilities:
1. Repair Monitor.
2. Buy new one.
I'd prefer second.
