We are seriously looking into it. We're trying to balance resources between
that and a full Windows version of the engine.

Win....WHAT?
Most of us use the Rendition board to *INCREASE* performance, so don't
spend too much time on developing stuff for this so-called "operating
system"

Just saw this in the tech news on ZDNet this morning, thought it might
be of interest to gamers using DOS:

<<WINDOWS 98 THE END OF THE LINE FOR DOS

MS-DOS, the vintage operating system that underlies Windows 95 and
Windows 98, will not continue past Windows 98. Everyone knew DOS's
days were numbered, but the timing became clear at this week's
WinHEC conference. MS execs rattled off a laundry list of new NT 5.0
features, new tools and new ease-of-use and TCO initiatives. And
confirmed that DOS would not be carried forward any longer.>>

OK Bart, you might have a sense of humor. So what exactly is a "tosser"?
If you saw the Full Monty you know what I mean :-)

Well, I didn't see "The Full Monty", but my admittedly limited
understanding of the vernacular of our British cousins leads me to
hazard a guess that "tosser" is patois for an habitual inebriate.

I'm afraid I'm not qualified to answer that question, but the helpful
Microsoft representatives who maintain such a vigilant and proactive
presence in this newsgroup most certainly are.

The direct translation would be "jerk" I suppose. Literally it means
someone who indulges in self-manipulation but, like jerk, now tends to
mean someone worthy of derision.

Like most UK phrases it can also be used toward friends, so greeting
your mate in the pub with an "y'alright ya tosser?" would be fine, but
doing likewise do a stranger would probably earn you a sore face!

Cheers!
John
