Excuse me if this has been asked before, but can anybody tell me if the Act
Labs
Force RS + Shifter work alright with DirectX8a?
Visited the Act Labs site but couldn't find any notice about it, or anything
about
updated drivers for dX8a.

Blues,

Yes.  I loaded DirectX 8 from the N4 CD and my system immediately became
unstable and rebooting, problems, etc.  It was a mess ;)

I installed DirectX 8a and everything is back to normal and I gained about 6
to 10 fps.  My ACT-LABS and Force RS are working fine with it.

Act Labs and DirectX8a

I've got an Act Labs Force RS on my box and the driving in the game
seems very twitchy and overly sensitive to input even when the
steering ratio is as high as it can go. Could you tell me what your
setting are? Thanks.
