SRN September - car setup guide?

by James Bev » Fri, 25 Oct 1996 04:00:00

Hello all,

Am I missing something really obvious?  John mentioned on a couple of
occasions that Sim Racing News September would include a car setup
guide written by a real racecar engineer, and dropped a couple of hints
about dampers based on this guide.  So, time passes and SRN comes out,
but seemingly without the guide.

Am I looking in the wrong places, or is it hidden behind one of those
"under construction" GIFs?

Meantime, thanks for the rest of SRN -- a quality publication, easily
fit for the newsstands.

James

SRN September - car setup guide?

Without the guide, because I didn't work on September at all - I was too
busy moving house!

The guide is on my hard disk (along with track guides for Hockenheim,
Spa and Barcelona), and I'm almost finished it. It will be in the next
issue, which will be along soon. Now that Marc and I are both back
working on the mag, there won't be a delay as before.

Cheers!
John
