ATLANTA in ICR2, DAMN FAST!

Has anyone else converted Atlanta for ICR2 use and found it to be a
superfast thrill a minute merry go round?  The 24 degree banking
allows full throttle the entire track (after the tires warm up of
course).  Turning a 238 (well, 237.5+) mph average isn't impossible.
Turn the AI cars up to 100% at least (otherwise they're constantly in
your way).... and tip your pit crew well, you're gonna be seeing them
ALOT!

Why not! Personally I'm running Indianapolis these days though.... :)

236.715mph after 10 minutes - Probably 240mph is on the cards.
Absolutely GREAT in SVGA :))))

Cheers!
John

Sounds like you were doing a 2-heat CART race from the early 1980s. Wonder
what an IndyCar on Talladega would be like, eh?

It's pretty cool - 252 MPH down the back stretch, holding it over 240
in the turn. Just don't over-correct "downward" too much in those
turns - you have to cut the line just right the first time or you'll
spin out or lose a lot of speed.

Download the NASCAR to ICR2 conversion program floating around the
usenets and you can tear around those Nascar tracks in those Indy cars
