Paintkit won't work for me.

I had it working, and messed around a lot with a car. Then it crashed and
I found it had corrupted the whole of the cars file and wouldn't run.

I'd only had the game a couple of days, and thus just re-installed (ie
copied the cars files and paintkit.exe from the cd).

Now it doesn't run at all.

It shows up the initial title of a dos program initialising.
It says (I think) "testing.....ok"
The screen then blanks (apparently switching to a graphics format?).
It then drops back to a prompt.

No error messages, no opening screen, no nothing.

Does it need more "instalation"? Are pointers or something in a cfg or
ini type file wrong? Anyone got any ideas?

It's actually ICR2 I've the problem with.....but I'm using CART95 from
the pits......you'll be pleased to hear that if I play NASCAR, it's with
that excellent BTCC set you mentioned!      B-)       (thanks for that!)
