Get bent over its just a matter of time.  Well tongiht was my
big race to win a $300 TSW.  I had the fastest car.  I waited
a whole season.  I was in the semi finals.  Oh Ya, did I forget
to mention that I had a brand new Broken Thrustmaster
Pro Wheel on the Shelf, Ya I broke almost 12 springs in
6 months.  So I was using my T2 and I had 5 minutues
before the race.  All I have to do is make 2 6 sec passes
and I walk with $300 TSW.  Well I pulled to the line
and no wheel.  Looks like the Steering pots failed!!

Thats why I deserve for trying to race with this
PLASTIC FANTASTIC POS CHINEESE CRAPOLA!!!

Wilshe, I think you should take this as a sign that you should stop
playing all sim games and stop posting to this news group and take up
Space Invaders or something

Sorry to Don.  I've heard a lot about broken pedal springs.  I've got one of
the first T-2's (Dec 95) and I havent broke one yet.  I've had to replace
the bungee several times and I replaced the steering pot 1 time.  I've only
had to pay for the bungees that I buy at the store and thats it.  Mines been
pretty reliable.

You might just shell out the bucks for the TSW instead of winning one!  My
T-2 was the best $99 bucks I ever spent until I get my hands on a TSW.

The fact of the matter is: Things wear out. That's the conclusion I
finally had to come to after 3 years of hard use on my old T2. The
bungees were shot, the pots were shot (after having been cleaned upm***
times), I even broke the snap-tite holder for the steering pot (had the
pot held on with duct tape)... hey... things don't last forever. Just
bought a TM Nascar Pro and love it. Too bad about your experience with
the T2.

Onward to the next subject...

try treating your toys with respect and not thrashing them and maybe
you can survive without breaking springs (as many others have)

Don

I still had a lot of respect for you until I read this post. How did you
think you were the fastest? I qualified first. You qualified last. Two 6
second passes and you win the wheel? A 6 second pass and you would've
been at half track when the win light shines. I won the event and the
wheel with a 5.748. Everyone can see the results at
http://members.ultracom.net/aplanet/ along with the winning setup. Oh by
the way, it's doubtful you would've posted your setup had you been lucky
enough to win if everyone else fouled :)
