clearing my N2 record laps?

by bmoor » Tue, 01 Apr 1997 04:00:00

sorry, I think that this has been covered but I missed it.  How do I
clear my lap records in each track.  I dont mind the records on there
from the real drivers, but my record lap of "306" on talladega is a
bit bogus, and Id like to change it.  Please tell me what line in the
track folder.
Thank you

It's not in the track folder, it's in the records.txt folder of each
track.

it was that way after one night of running on line at kali.  I think
it has everything to do with all the modem ping times varying.....

It usually happens during a modem race on the client side (if I remember
correctly). You Shift-R or escape back to the garage and then quickly jump
back into the car. The server doesn't realize that you popped back to the
garage and thinks you've just crossed the finish line from the last lap.
