Anybody know of a site where you can find actual NASCAR race lap times for
Winston Cup and Busch Series races?  If it's on nascar.com I sure couldn't
find it, and a google search didn't turn up anything.  Just want to see how
my race laps compare to actual.

You're more than likely quicker... seems like our RL counterparts can't get
the gas mileage we do without compromising horsepower (and we're up by 50 in
that department too).

If you get the free TrackPass trial you can replay timing info from past
races.

Reason I'm wondering is that I have been running the Busch cars lately and
my lap times are about the same as they were in the Cup cars.  Part of that
is undoubtedly due to the fact that I have never quite been on the pace in
the Cup cars, but still it makes me wonder.  Also the Busch cars seem to
handle a lot better and that seems odd.  I thought that the only difference
between Busch and Winston Cup cars was horsepower and tires.  Am I
incorrect?  In the Busch mod they sure do drive as though they are lighter.

Winston cup is 3400 lbs...Busch 3300. from CNN SI.... "the first things that
you notice as a driver is the weight difference. A Busch Series car can weight
100 pounds less than a Winston Cup car."

Nah, they're lighter than Cup cars too, and have shorter wheelbases, on the
order of 5" shorter. So they do have a little less HP but are lighter and
can turn better because they are shorter in length.
