NFS2 HELP!

Hello,

Is anyone having trouble running NFS2 with a Intergraph Reactor? After
starting the game I get an error message saying it can't initialize a
video mode. I have DirectX-3 installed and run other games that use it
just fine.

Thanks for any help,

Sal V.

I run a Reactor. No problems. When you run the setup for DirectX3,
does it say all drivers are "certified"? Mine does. It also says
somewhere it requires 65K colors. I run 1024X768X65K. I'm sure the
game runs at 640X480X256. It shifts it when it starts. But my monitor
changes modes between racing and menus. Perhaps the menus are what the
"high color" is required for. Just a thought. Let me know if you need
any more help.    -=Don=-

I also use a Reactor and have no problems.  I am using the Beta drivers
that they pulled off their website a couple of weeks ago.  I'll send them
to you if you want.

I have a Reactor and can play the game fine, with one exception.  When
racing tournament mode, usually after one or two races, the screen
will go black and the system will freeze up and I will have to reboot.
This doesn't happen in any other mode.

As far as opinions, I'm a little bit disappointed in the performance
of the game.  I have a p200-MMX with 16megs of ram and an Intergraph
Reactor.  I can only enjoy it with medium detail and interlaced mode
on.

I really hope a dos patch will be released.  This could add so much
more speed to the game.
