Results bug in GP2 !?!

Today I did a championship-race at Interlagos over 50% race distance
and was happy to finish 4th and get some points. But when I looked
at the results table I was only 7th! Though Michael Schumacher was
displayed as winner at the end of the race he was only 4th in the
table. Gianni Morbidelli (who was lapped) suddenly got 10 points!
Seems GP2 cannot distinguish between race leaders and lapped
drivers! As long as nobody is lapped everything is ok. I have the
german version 1.0b. Do you have the same thing in other versions?

Another silly question: How do I change my type of tires?
The german handbook does not mention anything about different
types of tires. I can choose between new tires used ones but the
type seems to depend on the circuit I am on. Am I just too stupid to
find that option or is it really not there?

Thanks for your help!

Bought GP2 this afternoon at Babbage's, Oakland Mall, Troy, MI (suburban
Detroit).

Initial impression:  sounds awesome, VGA graphics are a bit
disappointing, SVGA is pretty, but not very playable on my P100
w/Imagine 128 (killer video card for Photoshop, not so good for games,
what to do?).

For me it was the other way round : I finished 4th, accelerated the game to finish,
looked at the result table and was suddenly the winner !!!

Hope this will be fixed...

Hmm,

I just had a 'quick race' at Silverstone finishing third - or
so I thought! I get places 24th!! I'm damn sure I crossed the line.
Maybe I was penalised for ramming the other cars afterwards...
Anyone else experienced this ?

I noticed on one occasion (haven't doen it again) that if you Escape
from***pit having crossed the finish line (I won!) and then
accelerate the time it moved me to last place but one, so now I just
keep on driving till the game fades for me.

Hey Thomas Gropp !
You burnt somethin' into my screen !

I have the same version but everything is O.K. !
And I mean everything: no bugs so far !!!! (Thanks to MP)
It's not there or we're all stupid !
Nobody found it yet but you don't need it because you can't change the tires if you wanne
win !

I know what you mean, yesterday I finished 6th at Montreal, but then
in the results I was...  1 lap behind!!!  This is strange, isn't it?

I was driving too at Interlagos and I was 6th. After the Finnish line I
saved a hot lap and after that my results was also changed. The GP
winner was 7th, 2nd was 8th and so on, I was 26? (I don't remeber
exactly but the results definetly changed).
I tried that twice after that and first time also results changed, but
last time the results was right.
So I don't know, did the hot-lap saving effect somehow, or when this bug
occurs???

I don't think you can change it. Nowadays Goodyear only bring one tyre
compound to different tracks.
