By the way Tantrum my congratulations on your work with the
weather and atmospherics. This is by far and away the best simulation
of weather conditions and their effects on engine tuning and track
conditions
I have ever seen!!! Not only do you have to figure out how to get the car
to
go fast at different tracks at different times of day but just like real,
the weather
changes virtually ever pass and must be compensated for in your tune up!
Initially, I was surprised that there weren't more options for changing
more engine parts and experimenting in testing but in reality they don't do
this when they are racing. Only in test and tune sessions, but there is
more
than enough things to fine tune to get the car to run the big numbers and
not
blow the tires off once you get into it. About the only thing missing that
I can
thing of is in regards to compression ratios. In real life they run
different
compression ratios in different cylinders to compensate for fuel flows. I
believe they can have ratios between 5.5 and 7.5 in same engine front to
back.
Great job!
Pete
