Viper Handling advice

Hi,

I have some questions about how best enter and exit turns in Viper.  I
was doing well in Pro class untill I got some power upgrades.

Here is what I do when entering a turn I decelerate while making my
initial turn to get the weight forward and get the rear end to swing
around, this works pretty well (the same action in GPL causes a serious
spin out).  Going through the apex I give even throttle, or mabye let up
a bit if I'm squealing.  After the apex I give it throttle, this is
where I have a problem the rear end breaks loose real easy and I have
trouble recovering esp when I'm running without a wing.  The question
is, should I be giving throttle or should I keep it even untill the next
straight?

I was always led to believe that throttle would push weight on to the
rear wheels and increase the grip, so they shouldn't break loose.  Where
am I mistaken?  This seems to work well in GPL.
