Zone and Kali racing?

Does anyone have any experience with the Lan IPX page at www.zone.com? It
looks like Kali, but than for free! It seems you can play any network game
there. I'm still waiting to play Screamer Rally or NFS2 SE online. Someone
knows more about this?

You can play any IPX game over the IPX-Zone, but finding people might be
difficult.

I tried WarCraft2 over the IPX-Zone a long time ago, it worked but was a
hassle.
Playing Age of Empires over the regular Zone had more lag than desired and
basically
a poor experience.

Just to show you I'm not entirely against the Zone.  Playing MTM was great fun

and there were always players around.

May I suggest getting a friend with the same games and low ping (<400)
and trying both methods for yourself.  Trying to find Screamer Rally
or NFS2 SE players will be tough either way.  On Kali, check out the
"-> Racing <-" and "Where to Race" servers for action.

Jason.

The Internet *** Zone (http://www.racesimcentral.net/) is an Internet *** site
that has over 40 multi-player games (almost all are free to play). There is
an area were users can play DOS IPX (such as WarCraft, Doom II, Decent,
Command and Conquer, Quake) multiplayer games. There are many IPX games
playable on the Zone. The Zone also has multi-player functionality for games
with DirectPlay technology.

Check out the site! You will love it!
