Can anyone make a util allowing all cars to have high noses. I doubt it
but if anyone whos reading this know much about programming and all that
please try to make a util making all cars to have high noses. IT WILL
BRING US A STEP CLOSER TO HAVING THE ULTIMATE(sort of) F1 SIMULATION!

I agree please fix the cars to all high noses.  I just downloaded the 96
carset and was happy with the high nosed williams, but all the other cars
were low nosed.  Including the ferrari which changed at mid season.

Thanks in advance

Would someone give me a hand?
 Everytime i try to play GP2 i have to re-calibrate my Thrustmaster T2. I
have loaded the
controls file from the c.d. and it worked fine the first time. I then
exited the game and chose to SAVE settings upon exit. Why is it this is
happening? I end up having to play around with it for a while before i get
it calibrated again. This is what happens when i try to callibrate. When it
say's turn joy a(or whatever) to full left and press fire sometimes the
little ball dart's to the right and not left. After i finnaly get it
callibrated and start the game the next time it'll do the same thing but
only this time it might dart left when it's supposed to go right.
????????????????????
I'm lost , have no clue,  I've tried to reinstall the game and that didn't
work.
Any idea's?
                                                     Thanks

Mine does the same thing (Gravis Joystick). I've chalked it up to a
crappy game port card though. I have to calibrate every time, and
sometimes it goes left...left ...bang right. When this happens, I have
to exit the game, and restart it, then recalibrate.

So, its either my crappy game port, or perhaps because it isn't 'brand'
name (sounblaster etc) the game doesn't initialize it correctly.

It is most annoying.

I believe that someone is currently working on a utility to do exactly
this!

I have the same problem, not every time I start the game though. - Cheapo
Quickshot joystick and SB16 card.  It is something in GP2 I think, as other
games (screamer etc) `remember` their joystick calibrations fine.

Hi,

From the Control, Advanced menu.....select 'CONTROL' option.........
(not joystick).  I think you can load T2.con  or GP500.con from the
CD-ROM, calibrate your wheel/pedals....then save the calibrated file to
the GPSAVES dir.  This file should be called the next time you load GP2

Hope this helps

I had a horrible time with T2 calibration when I first installed GP2.
Turned out to be that GP2 diagnosed my sound card as an SB 16 whereas it
really preferred to be treated as an SB Pro.  Once I redefined the sound
card in the setup program, the T2 worked great.

If the sound card or joystick gives trouble, it seems to be safe to take
the settings for a lower level of sound card than you really have,
whereas telling the game you have a higher level is asking for trouble.
