skotty,

I know, you just want to help.  But I am always amazed at how folks here and
elsewhere are so eager to answer a question that can be found just as easily
if the asker just took the time to look in the manual.

It's just plain laziness to ask a question before finding out the answer on
your own.  I didn't know that answer to the chat question.  But guess what?
I looked it up; and found it myself.

How many times do we see questions here like "how do you chat during online
play" or "how do I find out my fps"?

I think that if we continue to answer questions so easily found in the
manual then the questions will keep coming.  I for one am not answering
simple-minded questions any longer.

Just a thought-- don't get rattled.

This is true, and Im not rattled.
I did think wow, what a simple question to ask that has a simple
answer and a simple way to find that answer.
Most people just post without looking for the answer in previous posts
or reading the manual/readme. It's called lazyness. :)

I agree, in general, but, as for the "how do I get FPS?" question.  I
could not find this in the manual and it wasn't until somebody asked
the question in this group that I even knew it existed.  If it is in the
manual
I don't see it.  Anyway, just because something is obvious to you does
not mean that it is to everybody.
(Although, even I knew the answer to the chat question :) ).
