A few Grand Theft Auto III questions

considering getting the PS2 after XBOX is released based on GT3 and
GTA3...

anyway, for those who are using it:

1) is there a drivers' eye view? Oh man, I hope so.

2) What are your favorite aspects of the game?

3) What are your least favorite aspects?

4) Is there replay?

5) Favorite moments/chases?

6) Can you go inside buildings?

7) Wheel recommendations?

Sorry if any of these are dumb questions... I searched around and
couldn't find the answers.

nope.  bumper-cam and various external views.  funny thing is; I don't
think***pit-view would suit this game, as you wouldn't get to see
the long slides and crazy jumps. :)

nope.

I've read that you can, but I haven't found anyone yet, apart from
respray-shops and such.

haven't bothered to try it with the LWFFGP, really.  you trek around
on foot alot, and I guess drive-by shootings would be somewhat awkward
to control with a wheel.

I haven't *seen* the game, but I think the answer is no, based on what
I read at Rockstar Games website.  Roof/chase view only, apparently.
Too bad, from a driving-sim kind of perspective, but from what I hear,
the game really rocks, so I'll probably buy it anyway.

Again, only from what I gather, the pedestrian view is 1st person.

I was wondering about this too.  Not necessarily for recommendations,
since I have a wheel already, but does the game support that as a
controller?

I still listen to the GTA CD from time to time, when "it's time for a
joyride".  I hear for GTA3 there is almost 3 hours of original music.
The music for me was what made the original game really stand out.
Well, that, and running over Hare Krishnas for bonus points.

You might check alt.games.grandtheftauto for the rest of your
questions, though lately it seems mostly to be a flame war about which
is better, the PS2 or the PC.

Thanks Gerald -

I hadn't even thought of looking for a dedicated group.
