T2 and F1 GP (World Cicuit)

I bought a Thrustmaster Formula T2 yesterday, it's manual says that it's
don't need any converter anymore and will work fine in both WIN95 and
DOS. And it works great in controlpanel joystick calibration, and it
works with Monster Truck Madness, Supercarts, Indycar racing and F1 GP2
- BUT it will not work with Microproses World Circuit F1 GP.
F1-configuration/control-setup tells me that the range is too short,
i've tried both X and Y axes but nothing seems to help. Has anyone som
helpfull hints to give?

My hardware P133, DiamondStealt 2MB, 32Mb RAM, and Win95

Try setting it up as custom instead of Thrustmaster T2.
