Woops! Actually NASCAR will be doing an Exhebition (spl?) race at
Suzuka at the end of the '96 season. Nov 24th, I think. They might
put Suzuka in the '97 circuit. Oh, and I didn't hear it from Autoweek.
I think I heard it on ESPN, or something. My mistake. Sorry.

Wow, I would have thought there was a major difference between the handling
characteristics of a light, precise F1 car and a big lumbering NASCAR car!
I believe a number of the current F1 drivers also use the game (Rubens
Barichello and Mika Salo among them). There was a review of the game
in Autosport a few years back. I seem to remember it said that Oliver
Gavin used the game to learn the Spa circuit, and went out the following
day and won a Formula Renault (maybe) race there. Do I also seem to
remember that Williams used it too?
Can anyone give us any more definitive information on just who in the
World of Motor Sport uses F1GP? Thing is, I want them all to use my
new editor when it's released so I get lots of free tickets to races
and things ;-))) It would be nice if a few F1 drivers had internet
access, and could actually comment in this group on how the simulators
compare to the real thing (maybe they do have already, but are lurking
without posting. Jean? Eddie? Michael? Damon? Are you out there?).

I have also heard that Bobby Labonte likes to Drive Nascar.
How'd you likw to drive with Bobby over the modem?... and I wonder if he has
the IWCC Carset so he can drive his own car?
Tony, you should mail a disk with WNSTNCUP.EXE on it to him!
I believe this is an exhibition race; I don't think the results count in
the Winston Cup point standings.

to learn the track a little better..
