BMR Racing (http://www.racesimcentral.net/~motisko/bmr98.htm,
http://www.racesimcentral.net/ by 4/10/98) is proud to announce *official*
sponsorship from Hercules Computer Technology, Inc.
(http://www.racesimcentral.net/), leading developers of high quality video
cards such as the Thriller 3D and the Stingray 128/3D.

"We're looking forward to working with BMR Racing.  They approached us
in a professional manner and expressed a desire to work with us in any
way to give the consumer the best product possible.  With the continuing

growth and popularity of sim racing we know working with BMR Racing will

allow us to stay well informed about your needs", said Joe Lau,
Marketing Coordinator for Hercules.

"I was e***d when Brian brought this possibility to my attention.  We
wanted to work with a company we felt had a far superior product, and
Hercules was that company.  We plan to work with them to help them give
sim racers the best products for all your racing sims.  With all Papyrus

products having rendition support, you can't go wrong with a Thriller
3D", said John Montes Jr., BMR Racing.

"I'm really e***d Hercules decided to team up with BMR Racing.  I
first want to thank Joe Lau for working with us on this.  I also want to

thank my teammate John Montes Jr. on getting this deal in place.  I
believe it's a great opportunity for Hercules & BMR Racing.  We have 7
great drivers that will put Hercules up in the front of the pack!" said
Brian Motisko, BMR Racing.

BMR Racing consists of the following drivers: Bob Anderson (band), Mark
Anglin (marka), Bud Bird (budnes), Paul Born (borntrukin), John Montes
Jr. (nobrakes), Brian Motisko (motisko), and Scott Troxler (stroxler).
These drivers currently compete in leagues such as OSCAR CGN, OSCAR
OUTLAW, NASRA BGN, NASRA CUP, FSSPRO, NASS98 ONLINE, and others.  "We're
looking to put Hercules in the winner's circle both on and off the
track", said John.

No, and real sponsors are getting more and more interested about
sponsorship.  Thrustmaster, CH, Hercules, TSW, ECCI and many other companies
all sponsor a team on the NROS.  We debated a lot on the T.g.n.s. newsgroup,
and made on conclusions that sponsorship is a very good thing to bring the
NROS on a higher step, that is being accepted as a serious form a racing,
not a "game".

Um, "we" haven't decided anything.

The sponsorship right now isn't anything more than companies donating
their equipment and people making silly signatures...

I don't think that this "sponsorship" is going to hurt anything, nor do I
think that it will help.

I have heard from the people that are being sponsored that this will help
the companies make a better product because they will be able to give
them feedback.
I say if they haven't done anything in the past about fixing their
products when they had hundreds if not thousands of people giving them
feedback, what are they going to do with a couple of more people...?

Well "we" here at Thomas Enterprises take the sponsorship issue VERY
seriously, we not only sponsor two teams in NROS, we also do the same
with LFRS and other leagues. We also sponsor several racing oriented
websites.

We were the first to sponsor a team in the NROS and we'll continue to
expand our program in future, we dont do it to get feedback on
improvments needed because there are none, ask anyone who has and uses a
TSW or TSW 2.

Trevor...
I don't put you guys in the same class with the 'big' companies. There is
a lot more involvement with you guys and the product. I was more stating
that I thought that some of the other sponsorships won't benefit the rest
of us much...or maybe it's just sour grapes that I don't have a sponsor!
Nah...

Now if I could find a way to convince the wife to let me buy a TSW....

How about a discount for people who come from Iowa?  ;)
