Where to buy RBR?: I haven't had to go shopping for an import since Mobil 1 Rally

I almost forgot what a pain in the arse it is when titles aren't released
here (Toronto, Canada, North America).  Where should we get this?  I am not
even aware of any local retailers who import stuff any more--I know EB won't
be carrying it.

I initially tried http://www.amazon.co.uk/ but didn't see it there.

I pre-ordered it from http://shop.game.net/, a UK-based site.  The price
is higher than some other UK places I found but they ship internationally.

The total came to 28.94 UK pounds, which is about $67CDN now.

BTW, I'm in Canada too...

I'll do the same when World Racing 2 comes out. :)

It is on amazon.co.uk at
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00007KIND/qid=1093380155/sr...

Also www.gameplay.co.uk

But you could support BHMotorsports at http://www.bhmotorsports.com/RBR

Andi.

If you are looking for a US based retailer, gogamer.com is taking pre-orders
for RBR for $42.90. I have ordered imports from them before and was happy with
their service.

I checked out GoGamer and it seems they only ship within the USA.

Too bad; their prices look good.

Before I lay down the bucks, does anyone know if it supports multiple game
controllers?

long it's been since I've forgotten anything.

Amazon UK won't deliver to Canada (not surprising sine we have Amazon
Canada).  Gameplay does.

Thanks.

I've ordered DVDs, CDs, and books from Amazon UK with no problem.  Do
they ship computer games internationally?  Even Amazon.com will only
ship games within the USA.

It appears they don't.  Just saw this:

I don't have a definite quote, but the same question was posted on rscnet,
and the answer was it'll support just about anything you've got plugged in-
including analogue clutch and handbrake controls.

cheers

Just for clarity's sake, and for anyone else reading, this is the actual
response from the developers from a Q&A session:

"Will RBR support all possible configuration of multiple controllers, H-
shifter plus analog and

digital clutch/handbrake?"
Yes the game will support many controllers all at once, analog clutch has
also been incorporated into

the PC version.

The whole Q&A can be found at:

http://forum.rscnet.org/article.php?a=76

I put my pre-order in with play.com a few days ago- 17.99 is a steal for a
rally sim that promises this much.  I don't know if they ship overseas,
mind.

cheers
