............................ to download the setups I find in some
websites into GPL?

I haven't figured out how and getting a bit frustrated.

  One thing though -----

I seem to be having the best of luck with the BRABHAM of all things.

For some reason, it seems to fit my driving style better, and I can
start lapping consistant and***times almost immediately.

I am sure it has to do with the torque curve of the small block GM
engine.

Ok here ya go...
All setups are dependant of each car chassis and type.

The Ferrari has the *.fe_  extention.
BRM : *.br_
Lotus : *.lo_
Murasama: *.mu_
Coventry : *.co_
Brabham : *.bb_
Eagle : *.ea_

the "_" is 1, 2 or 3 depending on witch class the car is.  So a Lotus GP car
is saved as a *.lo1, but a advanced trainee Ferrari setup is saved as a
*.fe2.

Just extract those setups in your
X:\SIERRA\gpl\players\Menard__Fran?ois\setups\kyalami

Of course your target may be different and also the player's name is
different also ;-)

It's a great car, I say... I use it sometimes at medium-speed tracks (Rouen,
'Ring, Mexico, etc..) where you don't need the raw speed that you need at
fast tracks such as Spa and Monza.
