If GPL's going to be stuck to the cover of 200,000 magazines why hasn't
Papy released the hound that is GPL. It would be a further insult to the
$50 games with the benefit of over two years of evolving technology that
still can't compete. It's selling for $5 now anyway so I'm sure they
wouldn't be too set back by the lack of revenue. I think it'd be some nice
hype before N4 comes out since they have nearly identical physics engines.
I already own GPL so this isn't a cheap mans ploy to save a few bucks.

if you're looking for original indy, I think I still have it, and N1--- not
sure what condition Indy box is in, or if its still around.

I'm not sure if this what you want but I found Papyrus' Indy500 at
http://www.***depot.com/Racing.htm. It is full of free downloads of
out-of-date games. I don't know about the nit-picking legality of them
being available, but half the games I found there wouldn't run on a modern
PC anyway - interestingly Indy500 did run. Now, if I only knew what all the
keys were...

Yeah. You're talking about abandonware. Basically, I find it OK
especially among those propenents who are actively seeking companies to support
and sell older games. There have been some victories on that front, but not
nearly enough. Personally, I'd love for Papy to make Indy 500 available as a
free or cheap Download just in order to keep history alive. That said, I doubt
I'd spend much time playing that game, really. It was great when I got it new,
but it's just too dated now to be much more than a historic relic.
