OT Newsgroup servers

Hi guys

I know this has been asked before, but I'm too lazy to do a search :-)

I have 3 different ISP's, 2 at home and 1 in the shop, and neither seems
to be able to provide me with fast and stable NG's

Meaning, lots of posts I see on either of my ISP's doesn't show up on
the others, sometimes they don't show up at all on any of them, the only
time I see them is when people quote them, and no, it's not just ***
Spam that is missing :-), and I know it's not my settings that does it
because I read and post on a couple of non public NG's as well, such as
Jacob Butner's old NG's, and never see a problem there

So I'm basically looking for a cheap (free) reliable news provider for
r.a.s., which is the only public NG I participate in (big sigh of relief
from some)

Beers and cheers

Keep in mind that most newsgroup servers are mirrors. The reason that you
don't have the problem with Jarvis' server (He took it over after Jacob shut
down) is the only place to get it.  news.mho***.com is the true host of
the group. I seem to have pretty good luck with Jarvis' mirror of R.A.S. as
long as I stay current.

Try this one - no binaries, but it's superb for other things. ras
