VROC reports www.ibm.com for IP address

by Todd Heck » Thu, 25 Mar 1999 04:00:00

I having problems with VROC reporting the correct IP address.  I am
connecting to the interface through an external ISDN modem/router
combination that uses Network-Address-Translation.  VROC used to
report the correct dynamic IP address that is assigned to the router
by my ISP.  Recently, however, it has been showing "www.ibm.com"
instead of an IP address at the top of the race list.  I do not have
an IP override entered in the setup page (I realize this would allow
me to host).  Does anybody have any idea why it might be doing this?

Hehe, well, we all need an outlet for our frustrations, and with what little
spare time I have, it's a helluva lot easier to fire up GPL than it is to
fire up my Boss 302!

With any luck, he's just evaluating the competition
with the goal of beating GPL in online playability :)
