ICRII Patch probem

I have Indycar II CD for Windows and DOS, but have only installed the
full DOS version.  I downloaded the patch but no mater what I do I
cant get it to work.  Please help....

1)  Which patch did you download?

2)  What exactly are the problems you are experiencing?

Eric,
 I had the same problem. The solution is that Sierras descriptions of
the patches are confusing. Use the patch they describe for dos. Not
the one for the cd. (It assumes you installed the 95 version.... That
runs like mollases on my computer!) I think if you look at the
start-up it will tell you which version you have 1.0 , 1.01, then use
whichever dos patch that takes you from your current dos version to
the 1.02 version. I think the win95 cd has the 1.01 version of dos
icr2. So that means you need 101 to 102 version of the patch.
 I get confused just reading back over what I just wrote.. sorry.
Sierra could have just made one patch that checked which version we
had and execute the proper patch... nah, that would be to easy.
 I hope you can make sense of my "help"
