Sound settings for NASCAR

I have been unable to get the music and announcer sound effects to work
with my PC.  The regular sound effects work fine.  Could someone please
provide me with the proper sound card settings for NASCAR.  I have the
following sound card:

Sound Blaster 16 Value Edition, IRQ:5, 220H, DMA:1,5

I've chosen "Sound Blaster 16 Stereo" for sound effects, but no matter
what I choose for music, it won't work.  Please respond via eMail.

Try using the "Sound Blaster 8 Stereo" option.  I have to use
that even though I have a 16 bit S.B. compatible card.  The
game won't recoginze it.
