URGENT!! Nascar Racing 1999 Offline League needed!!

by Ron R. » Wed, 01 Dec 1999 04:00:00

        Hello all,
Just got the word that the league I just ran in for 99 as CTS series
champion won't be doing an N99 series for 2k after all, they are
switching to N3 exclusively as did the first league I was in, I and
the other 3 members of my team, Pacific Rim Racing, cannot afford to
upgrade our systems just for the sake of sim racing and are in search
of a good solid league which will have 1 or 2 (CTS/STS) divisions for
2000 using N99.

This hit us right out of the blue, I ran solo in 99, and based on info
from people within series had setup a team for 2000 and just had it
blown away.

If any of you know of a good offline series that will be supporting
N99, preferably up to 4 driver teams for 2000 please let me know asap
so we can check it out.

Many thanks!
Ron

You may find turning right unfamiliar, but the Pits has a touring car
league based on N99.  (trucks are the patched vehicle even)
I believe the "plan" is to continue next year with the N99 version but
also have an N3 online variant.  So if your looking for tight racing
with some very fast (and in my case very slow) drivers. check out the
TPTCC at the uspits.  We are currently just starting our year end
Bullrun 1000 race.  1000 kilometer team race at the Flat Bullrun
raceway.  I just put the first 46 laps in(out of 171) and emailed the
save file to my team-mate.

Sounds like you've got good timing.  There's a GREAT bunch of guys in
TOOL (http://www.geocities.com/tooltrks/ ) that are running Nr99.  They're
really a lot of fun, you should try it.

I've been racing in the NSRL for 3 seasons now. It's pretty good, seems to
be some trouble right now, but I don't think its anything serious.

They have N2,N99 and N3 off/on line leagues
