Hey racers,

I need a downloadable contact manager program such as the old program called
"Sidekick"

I have found out that "MS Outlook" does not work on my home PC without
taking over as the mail and news program.

I want to use Outlook Express as my email/newsgroup at my home But I need a
"Contact Manager" FWIW, at my office I use Outlook as contact manager and as
a fax manager successfully .

Any Suggestions ????

Sidekick...?? Wasnt that that old Dos v2.0 program that had that nice
Ascill-charts and calculator??

I still remember using it.... along with Word Perfect - Junior!

Ahhh... those were the times... you know... prior to RGB monitors :-D

Are you sure this is a problem ? MS Outlook doesn't even have
newsgroups capability, and which program to use for mail is completely
your choice.

You can try Palm Desktop, even if you don't own a PalmOS device. it's
free at http://www.palm/com/

Yep...and old TSR programme...it had a modem dial and notepad as well.

Hey guys,

I finally got a copy of a MS Office 2000 ( legally !) where I installed
OUTLOOK and I was able to keep MS OE as my primary mail & News program.
