Soda Where?

I know it is at Babbages, but it is sold out in Fort Worth TX.  Some one
mentioned another store, but I can't remember  all the places it was
marked down.  Btw is the game really allot better than the demo?
Because the demo works fine on my p200 non-mmx.

I have seen SODA at places like Comp USA and Best Buy, if you have those
locally.  I personally think that the sim is great!!  I played the demo, and
HAD to get the full version as soon as it came out (a few months ago).  Some
guys have created tracks and are posting them on various web sites, too.
That makes the sim exciting forever!  BTW, I also have a P200 non-MMX, and
was getting about 15-18 fps with all graphics on (in 2-D) before I added my
Thriller 3-D card and now the sim runs at 27fps in Rendition mode.  Nice!

Hey Marc.  Up here in Washington (State!)  Home of the "REal" Rosebowl
Champs!,
the two stores selling Soda cheap are Babbages and Software etc..  I'm
pretty sure Software Etc owns Babbages and ususally they can be found in the
same mall or in two malls in the same town.  Good luck.  I'd still like to
know why those two stores put such a drastic price cut on Soda when
everybody else has the retail price...and NO I DON"T want to hear how it
sucks pond scum..etc...:>  Thanyouverymuch!

I just picked it up at Software Etc. for $14. Hell of a deal.
I was planning on waiting for the 3DFX patch to buy it, but seeing
that low of a price made me wonder if support for SODA is out the
window.
Anyway, I had a Rendition card here that I wasn't using.
I re-installed it, and it is awesome. Framerate is everything in this
game. You need it to maintain control.
It's rather a shame that it only had Rendition support.  I know Sierra
is trying to support the card they market, but they cut this sim off
at the knees by doing so.
