Well, I have decided to give GPL another try. When I initailly got it, I
returned it after about 20 days to Sierra and got my money back. I was very
upset about a number of features, the most being that there was no
adjustable AI. I did not have the time to put into GPL to get anything out
of it, so I returned it. In the long run, I feel that this was a good
decision. Now that I have the time to really learn it, I just reordered it
again from Chips and Bits for $20. I have promised myseld to give it alot
more time and effort, which is possible now that I am home from school for
the summer. If yo have any suggestion about downloads, setups, words of
wisdom and encouragement, etc., they would be greatly appreciated:)

I doubt that you will get any useful tips or hints from this group <g> Make
sure you still maintain a life, because GPL is messing up a lot of people as
you can see by reading this NG. <g>

How generous of you.

I certainly wouldn't have given you your $$ back for that reason.

If you didn't have time, why did you buy it in the first place??

If you bother to do a search for GPL with any reasonably search engine you
will find heaps.Of course if you don't have time for that either, maybe you
would like one of us to come and set it up for you and do the driving while
we are there. That way you can do what you do and watch out of the corner of
your busy eye.

A great game like GPL is wasted on winchers like you.
Maybe a play station Sega Rally would suit you better.

GPL redefines hard.

Wrong attitude. You've got to do it enjoy your driving. I've never beaten
the AI and have been on the podium of very few on-line races. Still I enjoy
it. I consider it a previlege to be able to race all these talented people.
I can't afford to do the same in RL.

Hear, hear.... but, do we want an even harder sim??? -Off course we do!! ;-)
