Midtown Madness with a V3?

by parche » Tue, 07 Mar 2000 04:00:00

Hi All,
Just got a copy of Midtown madness and installed it on both my
daughter's and my P.C's, Now, it runs O.K. on her's using a TNT video card
(after I upped the ram to 64Mb), but on my PIII the game recognises that
there is a V3 (3000) installed, but if you set it as the adapter, the game
freezes the P.C. and requires a cold reboot. Works fine in software rendered
mode, but looks dreadfull. Anyone running it on a V3, or know were there is
a patch?
                                    TIA,
                                    Phillip..

I'm running a Voodoo3 3000 and have no problems on Midtown Madness.  Maybe
check to see that you're running the latest drivers. If you are, try the
previous drivers. Also, don't set the game to 'fast load'.
