GP2 and longevity

The depth of this sim is staggering. I have read the threads about how we will
be playing this 2 years from now and just getting to max the SVGA but that only
scratches the surface. GP2 is challenging I consider myself a better than
average sim-racer but Brazil is teaching me some humility. The fastest I have
managed is 1.22.764 after a solid day of driving. After that much time in ICR2
I had the record on most tracks.

The data-logging is simply amazing. This feature alone takes the sim to a whole
new level. Again I havent plumbed the depths of this system but what I have
used has impressed me so much that I think trying to play ICR2 again is going
to be hard. It is going to take a long time for me to be able to master the
setup of the cars but I would think eventually the logger will help me set up
better cars.

I still love the brute strenth of NASCAR and always will but this game is
almost everything that a sin should be. Simply amazing.

Hmm. If you think that NASCAR is everything a "sin" should be, you need to
turn your computer off for a while!

Just kidding :^)

Funny thats what my girlfriend sais after another marathon GP2 session. Maybe I
should take care of the sin thing.  ;-)
