I get this message ( or something close to it) when trying to install
GPL or a private version of NFS built for BMW.  I have a Toshiba 40x
CD-ROM and 128 MB of RAM running Windows 98.  I got a generic email back
from EA support telling me to optimize several settings for my CD ROM
drive then to try ot do just a limited install, but nothing works with
these two disks.  All others are fine.

Is there a known problem with the Toshiba drives?

  I have a Toshiba in my Quantex system and I have not found any errors, nor
have my two sons with their systems.  Not sure whats causing it.
