A couple of Nascar Racing 2003 questions

Hi guys, I finally got a round to downloading the demo for this game. I
normally would not think of buying a NASCAR game because I despise ovals,
but with all the new road courses coming out for this title, and seeing it
for as low as $14.99, I had to try it.

My questions are the following...

1st, as predicted, I'm not having too much fun with the demo because it only
offers two oval tracks, so I was wondering if I can install one of the road
courses to the demo to see the driving model of this game on road courses?

2nd, I don't race online, so my question is, do these road courses have good
AI?

Thanks!

Not that I'm aware of.  Remember, the real Road Racing fun for Nascar 2k3 is
found in the  Trans Am physics.  Those come with the 1.201 patch AND either the
Project Wildfire mod or the TPTCC mod from theuspits.  Both use the same physics base
for their projects, although they differ in track ini settings which can affect(or is it
Effect...I am never sure any more) your driving.  And unfortunately you cannot 'demo'
the mods or the patch.
This often depends...Some of the tracks are very narrow and I have read of
ai problems.  Other tracks seems quite good.  Here, I don't think there is a good
answer.  What one user might enjoy, say tight rough competion, another might find
claustrophobic and unrealistic.
If you can purchase Nr2k3 for just $15 then I would say you have very little to lose
even IF you did not like the final product.   Many of the old GPL guard have moved
onto Nr2k3 leagues...they must know something.
