GPL 'hack' request

Does anyone know where the calibration data is saved in GPL?

Specifically, I want a 'steering trim' adjustment like I've got on
my model car R/C gear, so I can alter the steering centre position
by one 'click' at a time until I'm happy that the car's running
straight.  I can't seem to get my wheel perfect using the calibration
routines, and it's a pain having to recalibrate the pedals as well
each time I want to re-set the steering.

If it's a fixed location in a file somewhere I'm happy to go at it
with a hex editor; alternatively, if there's a utility to do this
that would be wonderful!

Thanks in advance,
Jonny

SIERRA\gpl\players\your_name\controls.cfg?

Okay, thanks to Phil Flack and also to Ake I've now found the saved
values (4 bytes per value per axis, least significant first) but
a) there are five sets of values (for each axis) of which:

 - the first and fourth are min and max
 - the third is the centre position
 - the second and fifth are *near* the min and max, respectively, but
   appear to be just within the full range;

and b) hex-editing the centre value doesn't seem to affect the steering.
My test currently consists of entering a training session at Silverstone
and gently opening the throttle in first; regardless of what I do to
the config file, it invariably drifts gently right and brushes the wall.

Can anyone shed further light on this?

TIA,
Jonny

Is it possible that your car setup might have something to do with this?  Set
all your car setup values to be symmetric.  Since Silverstone is predominately
right hand corners, odds are your setup is built to turn right better than
left.

Nah, the setup's symmetrical.  I can't drive a car which pulls -
hence I want to be able to fine-tune the centre position of the
wheel.

In any case, regardless of setup I should be able to make the dratted
thing steer left by setting the centre position off to the right...
