I use it for Starsiege Tribes Clan matches but never thought of using it on
racing games.  It comes in handy when playing ladder matches :)

all it is is a chat program.  U could use it while racing, but only to
talk to those people "logged in" to RW.  Be good if u had a teammate.

It works great for racing sims when you racing with some friends that you
can pre arrange to set up with. I primarily use it in Warbirds with my
squadies. When I practiced in nascar3 with some of them, it was only natural
to use it. I would love to hear a full race with everyone on it. A protocol
should be established first to get the most use out of it though.

roger wilco is great when racing with one or two other folks -
normally on a game like gpl you hardly see each other, at least with
rw, you can talk

you have to turn the soundFX volume way down tho, and it can mess with
frame rate a little on slower machines

all in all Roger Wilco is one of those programs that when u get used
to it you don't know how you did without it.

where it really comes into its own is when you are setting up an
online game with a few friends, and are having problems - you can TALK
to each other to get things working - what a great idea lol

I just started using it on Sunday night.  Me and another racer have formed a
Dodge Online Motorsports team (we are the only 2 that are running Dodge
paintschemes in our league).  We practiced on Sunday and used it.  I loved
it!  We ran a 168 lap race at Richmond on Monday night and used it as well.
I love it for just us to chat, but I don't think I'd like to hear all the
chatter of everybody.

I am running a PII 233 64 MB RAM, and a V3 3000 AGP, and I had no problems
with it taking bandwidth or framerate away.  I'm on DSL though.

My team and I (total of 9 on at a time, at the most) have been using RW for
about 2 months now I guess, great little program, things get choppy on slower
machines though. I can be a little confusing when more then one person talks at
the same time though. I'd recommend it to anyone though.
