I understand that "if" you bought the track pack on floppy you
don't get the tracks in SVGA.
I could be wrong though.

Well,  if you have the floppy version of the game itself, you can't
run any tracks in SVGA... but you're having the opposite problem.  If
you bought the floppy version of the Track Pack, that might explain
the problem you're having.

Sorry to send you off in another direction, but if you have the CD
version of the game & track pack, I'm going to have to send you to
tech support.  The number is in the box.

Beppe - how much RAM do you have on your system?  It sounds like you may
not have enough RAM to run in SVGA mode, which requires at least 8
megabytes to run.  If you've got 8 megs and still can't run, you might need
to disable disk caching or something else which is reducing your available
RAM.

Okay, I will take a stab at this also.  I just ran into a similar
situation myself.  I was playing around with some new utilities and
wanted to protect my setups, etc.  So I created a new directory under
the TRACKS directory and copied all of the track directories into it.
When I tried to fire up NASCAR I got the same message as yours.

You may want to carefully look at the files or directories in your
TRACKS directory.  Make sure that you do not have any files in the
TRACKS directory and the all of the Directories in this directory are
legitimate track Directories.  Also you might want to check the track's
directory that is causing the problem and make sure it doesn't have any
extra sub-directories.  Just a shot in the dark..... Sometimes the
obvious gets overlooked.... You do have files in the problem track
directories?

I am including a DIR of my TRACKS directory to help out.

If all of the posted answers don't work, you may want to delete the
Track Pack tracks (Directories and Files) and try to re-install them.
But do a CHKDSK or SCANDISK first.

One last thing.  No need to apologize for your English.  You are way
ahead of me. I only barely speak English and I don't even know another
language ;)

I also had this problem and I found that when you install the track pack it sometimes
wont put all of the new track files in their proper dir.
You probably need to look in the tracks dir. and see if the individual track txt files
are in the proper individual track dirs.

I have been trying to find a copy of the Nascar Track Pack for the past
several weeks and have not been able to locate one. A salesman told me it
had been discontinued. I was hoping someone had this package and was looking to unload it. If so, let me know. I would be interested in purchasing
it.

Have you checked with Sierra to see if they still have the NASCAR Racing Track
