RASCAR Replays Question

by bertr » Mon, 06 May 2002 11:34:27

It really looks like the RASCAR series here is really hitting its
stride.  I'm a Nascar Newbie with online GPL experience, but am
interested in perhaps trying my hand at RASCAR at some point, after mch
more offline practice.  (Question: Would that make me a RASCAR Rewbie?)

Anyways, I don't want to make a total fool of myself, nor do I want to
ruin anybody else's race, so I'd prefer to see a RASCAR replay (of at
least a few laps) before deciding on whether its  safe to take the
plunge.

So, is there anywhere to download/view any replays of the RASCAR races?

Thanks

Whether it's safe to take the plunge depends entirely on in front of whom
you're leaving the pits... <vbg,d&r> ;-)

I've uploaded the last 12 laps from our race at Atlanta yesterday...
Is this what you're looking for?

Well, I'm taking advantage of the fact that it's MY server to run in the
races...<g>  I don't get as much N2k2 practice as I should, but I can *usually*
keep it off the walls.  I'd say if you can do that, and give the faster racers
room, join the club!

Not yet, but I'm working on it...  I need to free up some HD space... :(

Indeed!!

I must say that I was actually quite pleased of how things turned out on
saturday...
even thought we had out share of yellows. For those who sayed on, things got
better and better imo and like you said - those last 12 laps or so at
Atlanta provided a perfect ending...  I was working like cracy trying to get
by the guy in front while still keep the guy behind at bay....  and by the
looks of it - so di d everyone else!

:D

The last 12 laps was worth all the yellow agony for sure.

I can't complain. I have been running league race for over 6 years and at
times they can be worse than what I have experienced in RASCAR.
