GP3: Pancho-Man?

I myself don't have the system to play GP3 (P200 with Voodoo3 2000),
however I might buy one soon.  Does anyone know if there is a Pancho-Man
feature in the game that can help you if you're too far behind the leader?

Your in luck!  This is going to be one of the new features added in the
upcoming patch.
