I'm just wondering if the two new tracks (Texas and California) are going
to be on Nascar 2.

They won't be in the initial release. It's based on the 1996 season, which
means it will have N. Wilkes,  Yea!

Cheers,

Not unless NASCAR makes a last minute 1996 schedule change and races at
them before season's end.  I.E., NASCAR2 is based on the 1996 season and
will include only the tracks visited by Winston Cup during 1996.  Of
course this will not include Daytona or the Brickyard, due to licensing
problems. :(

No. The game is not based on the 1997 season . Expect a track pack sometime
next year with the 2 tracks plus hopefully Daytona and Indy

WHEN did this news come out?  I haven't heard of a track pack being
planned for release next year.

Nope, Papyrus said that they will be following the 1996 season. That means
same tracks, drivers etc.

Maybe they will in Nascar 3?
