GPL FFWheel Question

If anyone could give me a little advise I would appreciate it.  I have been
trying to activate the force feedback on my Logitech Wingman formula force
GP while playing GPL (the greatest sim ever).  I have changed the Core.Ini
file as advised on a few websites but nothing changes.  Do you need to
replace the driver as well?  The sites don't mention this.  Thanks

Are you sure you edit core.ini and not core.ini.sample? You can check by
right-clicking then choose properties. To be sure you edit core.ini, open a
dos prompt, cd to the gpl directory and type notepad core.ini.
Also you need at least GPL1.1

GPL FFWheel Question

Thanks for your help.  It turns out that after I checked the file extension
on the core file I was altering it was .txt.  After changing this to .ini
the program refused to load.  I was using no core file at all.  This seemed
really strange since I am also using the D3D download accelerator driver
which I thought required allot of core.ini instructions to work.  Seems mine
works better without them.  If I remove the D3D related instructions from
the file the game will load and operate as it did, still without force
feedback.   I have version 1.2.0.2 and my wheel is the USB version.
I love this game and have played the snot out of it for the last 2 years
without the force feedback.  After getting papy's Nascar 4 with the
excellent force feedback feature, I went on a crusade to get this to work.
Thanks again for any advise anyone can give.
