GP2 Multiplayer I dont think so

Ive been hearing alot about the possibility of a multiplayer patch for
GP2.
Unlike Nascar Indycar which drop frames to make up for poor
performance,GP2 slows down and keeps the frame rate constant. This
means that in Nascar a 1 minute lap will always take 1 minute. In G.P2
however a 1 minute lap can take longer than 1 minute if the processor
occupancy  goes over 100%. Add 2 cars (modem play) and the problem
doubles, as either player going over 100% occupancy will slow both
computers.
Therefore the only way multiplayer racing will be possible is if all
drivers keep processor occupancy below 100% , (maybe if all computers
are fast pentiums run in vga with no textures YUK)
This is only an observation there may be a way around it that I dont
know about

What makes the jerkiness of losing frames better than time warping. I
agree that its sucks when time slows, but its equally bad when the
frames drop out as Papyrus handles it.
