Looking for advice: great auto-sim game modem playable

Everyone,

I currently race in a mode league using nascar2 as a basis. It's a great
game, but 4 seasons have passed by, and we are looking for something
different.

We cannot find on the market ANY auto simulation game that is:

-fun
-does not take a Cray to run it
-working with modems (1 on 1 of course)

Do you guys have any suggestions in terms of game ? any subject is fine,
from F1, to rally, nascar again maybe, or IMSA, prototype... we don't
care...

looking forward to read you...

Well, right now the GURU of all sims is of coarse, GPL (Grand Prix Legends)
but this is a serious sim that requires massive practice, and loads of
patience.
Other titles I could recommend, old but awesome and CHEAP....SODA Off Road
Racing. The graphics arent mind blowing, but great physics in this......
Viper Racing......some call an arcade, but is a sim....challenging road
coarse, lovely graphics, tricky physics make this an excellent choice for
the 29.95 asking price.
Other than those, I am a little unknowledgeable.....havent heard much good
news about any modern day F1 sim, and ICR2/Cart Racing are both old and same
graphics/ physics as Nascar2.
Soda is the BEST value of any of those at 9.95 in most bargain bins, and is
a total blast head to head, either via modem or TCP/IP connections.

Try Viper Racing by MGI/Sierra Sports. It's fun, can run okay on a P200 and
reasonable connectibility.
Cheers,
Paul

I saw ICR2 at CompUSA for $5
Along with N1, and SODA
Unfotrunately I had absolutely no money on me at the time
